Living in the Adirondacks, I'm used to trees. Or so I thought until I visited Muir Woods with Whitney and Dave for part II of their engagement session weekend. Adirondack trees don't hold a candle to old-growth Redwoods. In fact, I'm pretty sure all the trees on our 75 acres could probably fit in one Redwood. If you haven't experienced an old-growth forest, picture the trees in your back yard. Now imagine them as saplings. Because that's what they'd look like next to one of these Redwoods.
We stopped at Muir Woods for our second shooting location and wandered around, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and hushed silence that always accompanies lush, moss-covered trees. Whitney was a champ and wore white and DIDN'T EVEN GET DIRTY.
If you haven't checked out Whitney & Dave's first blog post from their sunrise session at Kirby Cove, you can do so here! This post is a shortie but I hope you enjoy it!
