SUMMER WEDDING AT WHITEFACE MOUNTAIN AND WHITEFACE LODGE
Emma and Matt, along with family and friends from both coasts, said their "I do's" to one another basking in glorious sunshine high atop Whiteface Mountain before journeying back to Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid for an evening of revelry.
Throughout their day, many described these two as the epitome of what a modern-day couple's relationship should be. Loving and supportive, strengthening each other's weaknesses while bringing out the best in one another's personalities, all the while maintaining healthy, individual interests and active social lives. Add grace, elegance, and an easy-going charm both seem to have mastered naturally and you have Emma and Matt.
August weddings can be brutally hot and muggy, even up here in the mountains, but last Saturday dawned bright and breezy. A late summer's haze kept the day from growing too warm and the breeze provided just the right amount of movement to our photos on the summit of Whiteface.
These two adventurers sped off to a few days of vacation post wedding in anticipation of their actual honeymoon (to Chile!) later this fall. I may or may not have thrown my name in as a honeymoon photographer. Hey, you never know, right?
Congratulations Emma and Matt! I hope you enjoy reliving your big day!
