Whitney, an upstate New Yorker who has lived, attended school, and worked on the east coast all of her life, is now living in the lap of luxury in San Francisco. And by "lap of luxury," all I really mean is that she has escaped the brutal upstate New York winters and non-existent springs and enjoys life in a much more temperate environment.
I may be a little salty today because we're supposed to get 4" of snow. But, that's neither here nor there so moving on...
All of my wedding packages give a couple the option to upgrade their complimentary engagement session to a destination engagement session. As many of my couples are not local, this gives them the opportunity to not only work with their wedding photographer (oh hi!) before their wedding day but also to get photos taken in spots close to their hearts.
Whitney and David, although living in beautiful California now, are getting married back here on the east coast this June and decided to take advantage of this opportunity to get photos taken in their current home state.
So last month, I flew out to them for a jam-packed weekend full of shooting in some amazing and iconic California locations. Because we went to so many different spots over the course of two days, their engagement session blog post won't be just one post but FOUR posts over the next several weeks!
Keep an eye out for all four but in the mean time, enjoy their first post -- a sunrise session at Kirby Cove in San Francisco!
